Get your running shoes on and start pounding the pavement. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Century Station and the City of Lynwood will be hosting the MyLYNWOOD Healthy Cities 2013 5K/10K Run & Walk on Saturday, February 9, 2013.
The race will start at Lynwood Park and promises to be a flat and fast course. Save $10 by pre-registering early. $20 for 5K Run & Walk, $25 for 10K Run. On site registration will also be available, $30 for 5K Run & Walk, $35 for 10K Run. Registration fee includes an official event t-shirt, race bib, sponsor gifts and pancake breakfast.
Registration and check in begins at 6:30 A.M. in the Lynwood City Park located at 11301 Bullis Rd, Lynwood. The event is certified by USA Track and Field and will start, rain or shine 8:00 A.M. Awards ceremony at 9:45 A.M.
