Jennings County: This evening a North Vernon man was killed in a two vehicle crash on U.S. 50. According to Trooper Matt Holley, at approximately 7:00 this evening a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by 36 year old Scott Lucas of North Vernon was westbound on U.S. 50 near CR 450W in Jennings County when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound 2004 International flatbed tow truck driven by 21 year old Larry Brown or Shepherdsville, Kentucky head on. Lucas was pronounced dead at the scene and Brown suffered a complaint of pain to his wrists. The crash remains under investigation.
