Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death one man and the stabbing of another in an unincorporated area of Torrance at 12:25AM, on Sunday, January 20, 2013.
The victim had been attending a punk-rock concert when a fight broke out. The fight spilled out into the parking lot and at some point, the victim was shot by an unknown assailant. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
A second male victim was stabbed during the fight and was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. These two incidents of violence are likely separate crimes occurring at the same venue.
Each incident is believed to involve a separate suspect.

NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Detectives responded to the 800 block of West Torrance Boulevard, Torrance, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult, and the wounding of a male adult.
One of the victims was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The second victim was also transported to a local hospital where he is currently listed in stable condition.
