DETAILS:
Within the past couple of weeks officers have documented several automotive burglaries that occurred in the N/E section of our city. The suspects have forced entry into the vehicles by breaking windows and removing valuables.
We need our community’s assistance to prevent and enforce these burglaries. The following are crime prevention tips that will help us resolve this matter:
-Residents should remove valuables from their vehicles. This includes hiding charging cords for their electronic devices. If a suspect locates a vehicle that is locked with a charging cord in view, they will assume there are electronic devices hidden inside the vehicle.
-Park your vehicle in well lite areas.
-Report suspicious activity immediately.
-Educate your neighbors and children.
