Versailles: Yesterday Versailles Town Marshal, Joe Mann received a tip from a concerned citizen of possible meth activity at the Moonlight Motel in Versailles. Marshal Mann made contact with Tpr. Brent Miller and set up surveillance on the room being used for the alleged illegal activity. Tpr. Miller and Tpr. Brian Earls arrived a short time later and did a “stop and knock” and made contact with the occupants of the room. During their conversation several items related to the manufacture of methamphetamine were observed in plain view. The officers secured the room and applied for a search warrant. Once the warrant was secured a thorough search of the room was conducted and during the search officers collected numerous items utilized in the manufacture of methamphetamine and three individuals were arrested.

As the investigation continues, more arrests could be made.
Persons arrested are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
