Southern California Edison-Wind Event and Freeze Warnings Over the Next Two Days
Two significant weather events will affect Southern Californians over the next couple of days: A Santa Ana wind event is expected to continue through tomorrow and possibly Wednesday. A freeze warning and frost advisory is predicted through tomorrow morning.
The Situation - High Winds – The highest winds are expected this afternoon (Jan. 14) into the evening, with winds tomorrow being slightly weaker. SCE is preparing for this wind event and the possibility of unplanned outages in your community. SCE customers can report unplanned outages on Facebook and Twitter, via our mobile "SCE Outages" application, online at www.sce.com/outages, and via phone at 1-800-655-4555.
Freeze Warnings – Remember to stay safe during cold weather, especially around portable heaters and electric blankets.
