Compton deputies arrest three gang members, recover two handguns and cocaine during a traffic stop. 
Compton Sheriff’s Station deputies continue to reduce gun/gang violence through proactive law enforcement.
On January 10, 2013, at approximately 11:23pm, Compton deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop. Further investigation revealed two firearms inside of the vehicle. One of the firearms was reported stolen and the other was an unregistered handgun. All three occupants from the vehicle were members of a criminal street gang and arrested for various weapons charges.
During the booking process, one of the males possessed several rocks of cocaine indicative of street sales.
Compton Sheriff’s Station continues to provide safety for the citizens and community we serve.
