Parks Bureau Detectives Arrest Robbery Suspect

Parks Bureau Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department arrested Steven Nocon a male 20 years old a residence of San Pedro on, Thursday, January 10, 2013 for robbery.

The Robbery occurred on May 30, 2012 at Deane Dana Friendship Park, 1850 West 9th Street, San Pedro, California 90732. The victim was walking up the road to the park when he was approached by the suspect and two other males. One of the males suspect Nocon confronted the victim and threatened bodily harm if he didn’t hand over the high valued skateboard he was holding. The victim in fear for his life complied and the males fled the park in a grey Honda Civic.
After further investigation the Detectives served a search warrant on the suspect’s residence. Suspect Nocon was detained and arrested without incident. The suspect was booked at Lomita Station and is being held on a $50,000 bail.
