At approximately 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, officers responded to Manet Road for an assault with intent to rob a cell phone.
The victim, a 21-year-old female, told police that as she was walking alone on Manet Rd. a white male, 25 years of age, about 6’ 2” inches tall, skinny build, possibly bony nose and wearing a dark colored jacket with a hood, came up behind her and grabbed her cell phone/hand and then struck her in the face.
The suspect looked at the phone, which is an older model and dropped it to the ground. The suspect then fled on Manet Road towards Commonwealth Avenue.
