LOW PRESSURE WILL BE ORGANIZING OVER THE CNTL PLAINS TONIGHT.& TRACK NE & INTO S. LWR MI BY LATE THUR AFTERNOON. SNOW IS EXPECTED TO OVERSPREAD NORTHERN LWR MI DURING THE PRE-DAWN HRS OF THURSDAY.AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY THUR & INTO THUR NIGHT. INCREASING WINDS WILL ALSO RESULT IN BLOWING & DRIFTING SNOW. SNOW WILL BEGIN TO TAPER OFF FRIDAY.

THE NATL WEATHER SVC IN GAYLORD HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH.WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM THUR MORNING THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER.

* HEAVY SNOWFALL WILL DEVELOP BY THUR MORNING.& CONTINUE INTO THUR NIGHT. BLOWING & DRIFTING SNOW IS ALSO EXPECTED AS WINDS INCREASE FROM THE NE & NO. BY THUR AFTERNOON.

IMPACTS.

* SNOW DEVELOPING ACROSS N. LWR MI PRIOR TO SUNRISE THURSDAY.& INTO EASTERN UPPER MI THUR MORNING.

* SNOW WILL BE OF THE WET & HEAVY VARIETY.DIFFICULT TO MOVE & TRAVEL IN.

* SNOWFALL TOTALS IN EXCESS OF 10 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF THE WATCH AREA BY FRI MORNING.

* NE TO NO. WINDS GUSTING OVER 25 MPH WILL RESULT IN CONSIDERABLE BLOWING & DRIFTING SNOW. NEAR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG THE NW LWR LAKESHORE AREAS THUR NIGHT INTO FRI MORNING.
