Gambling and drug search warrants served

December 14 2012, Giles County Sheriff’s Department Investigator Mike Thomason along with Investigator Shane Hunter, Chief Deputy Tommy Chapman and Officer Lenny Norman executed a search warrant at Long’s Tavern in Minor Hill TN. Officers seized illegal gaming machines and parts thereof, liquor, two loaded hand guns and over $9,000 cash. The case will be taken the District Attorney and Grand jury.
When officers left Long’s tavern they went across the street to GW’s Lounge and seized two illegal gaming machines. This case will also be presented to the District attorney and Grand Jury.

December 17, 2012 Giles County Sheriff’s Investigator Mike Thomason, Deputy Scott Nations with K9 Kelly, and the Special Response Team with assistance from the Pulaski Police Department served a search warrant at 1315 Meadowbrook Drive in Pulaski. Officers seized approximately 14 grams of crack cocaine, scales, and a small amount of marijuana. No one was at the residence at the time of service. Officers also seized some household electronic devices as proceeds from drugs sales. Warrants were issued for twenty year old Amber Jeanice Gilmore who turned herself in later last night. She was charged with Possession of Schedule II Crack cocaine for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of marijuana she remain in the Giles County Jail with bond set at $142,000.
Warrants were also issued for thirty-five year old Brandon Leondros Edmondson and are still active. Anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of Edmondson is asked to call the Giles County Sheriff’s Department you can remain anonymous.

Deputy Scott nations stopped thirty-five year old Jkenya Lavan Scott neat he scene of the search warrant and charged him with Possession of marijuana for resale and possession of firearm during a dangerous felony he remains in the Giles County Jail with a bond of $30,000 the cases are still under investigation.
