On November 9, 2012, at approximately 1524 hours, deputies from the Victorville Station were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Yum Yum Donuts located in the 14500 block of 7th Street in Victorville.

Upon arrival, deputies were advised that an unknown suspect entered the business and asked for a cup of water. When the employee's back was turned, the suspect brandished a knife and demanded money from the cash register. The employee feared for her safety and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money from the register. Employees at the business have seen the subject in the area recently and believe he may be a local transient. The subject was described as a white male in his mid to late thirties, approximately 5'9" tall last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, tan pants and black shoes.
