Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is releasing information about a recent crime/crime activity near your address.

Lodi Township Brookview Highlands Neighborhood
Sometime between 4:15am-5:00am this morning unknown suspects canvassing the neighborhood for unlocked vehicles discovered a garage door left open and went through several vehicles inside. Suspects then gained entry into the house through an unlocked door as the residents were asleep. Suspects quickly stole money, credit cards and small electronic equipment from two rooms close to the garage entry door. No suspect descriptions at this time.

On 11/05/2012 Travis Point neighborhood reported a Larceny from auto. (Vehicle parked in driveway and unlocked). Nixle notice sent out.

Most of us yearn for “those days” when we didn’t have to be so concerned about keeping our property safe. Crimes of opportunity are steadily on the rise so if you remove the opportunity the crime goes elsewhere. Please take the time to lock all doors to your vehicle’s or residence. If you notice any suspicious vehicles or persons in your neighborhood especially late at night or early morning don’t hesitate to call 911.
