Power outages throughout portions of the Township causing several traffic lights to be inoperable on Market Street @ 5th and @ Erie St, as well as, MIdland Ave @ Pehle Ave and @ Molnar Dr. Residents are advised to not drive during the storm unless absolutely necessary. If you must drive use EXTREME CAUTION especially at intersections as road conditions are extremely dangerous.
Do not report power outages to the police department. PSE&G requests that individual outages be reported by the specific customer(s) by calling 800-436-7734 or online at www.PSEG.com. Do not hesitate to call or think your neighbor called so you do not have to. The main way for PSE&G to know the extent of an outage is based upon the number of individual reports it receives.
Please limit calls to the police department with those requiring an immediate response from emergency services. As has been noted on several occassion, PSE&G DOES NOT update the police as to the cause or expected duration of any power outage.
