Halloween
HALLOWEEN ADVISORY FOR NEW BRUNSWICK
Halloween will NOT take place in New Brunswick today November 5, 2012 as proposed by Governor Christie. New Brunswick originally planned to have Halloween on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, but this has also been canceled due to the impending storm. The safety of our children and residents is our primary concern and at this time it is not totally safe for our children to be walking the neighborhoods with trees and wires still down.
Halloween festivities will take place on Friday, November 9, 2012 in the elementary schools throughout the City. Students will be able to come to school in costume and a Halloween Parade will be conducted and refreshments will be distributed.
The safety of our children is our number one concern and we feel this is the best alternative at this time.
