State of Emergency declared. Travel ban in Hopewell Township. Numerous roads blocked by downed trees and wires. HV without power.

A state of emergency has been declared in Hopewell Township and a travel ban is in effect. Residents should remain at home, state, county, municipal offices are closed. Schools are closed. Many roadways across Hopewell Valley remain blocked by downed trees and utility wires. These roads will remain closed for some time as utility crews work to clear wires. The entire Hopewell Valley is without power. It is anticipated that power will remain out for an extended period of time. Once it is safe for residents to travel water distribution sites will be set up.
