Mandatory Evacuation Notice for Front Street, Elizabeth by 5pm:
Due to Hurricane conditions, the City of Elizabeth is imposing a mandatory evacuation of Front Street between Elizabeth Avenue and Pine Streets (including side streets). Please move your cars to higher ground. If you need shelter, move your family (including pets) to Miller-Evans Logan Recreation Center at 161-163 First Street. Bring sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, medications and food.
The Elizabeth Police will be in the area passing out notices. For emergencies call 908-558-2111.
