Members of the Denville Police will be visiting homes in the flood prone areas of town passing out info on mandatory evacuations. The latest weather forecast calls for damaging sustained winds at 40 mph with gust between 50 and 75 mph. Although the rain totals have been downgraded some, residents should not let their guard down. This is still a very dangerous storm and rain totals could change at a moments notice.
