In preparation for the impending storm the City will be opening Lord Stirling School to be utilized as a shelter for anyone in need. Strong winds with heavy rains are expected. Residents should secure loose items left outside their homes and store a supply of batteries flashlights, food and water in the event of power outages. City police expect road closures as the storm progesses and encourages everyone to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary.
