Thefts have been on the rise in the West Valley area. Here are a few tips to help keep you safe. 
Here are five helpful hints to help keep you from becoming a victim of theft:
1. Lock your garage……always
2. If you keep valuables in your garage, lock them away, even if your garage locks from the outside
3. Don’t keep ladders accessible to anybody. Especially don’t leave them lying in the rear yard.
4. Lock up any tools, even if you are in the middle of construction
5. Demand that contractors take their tools with them upon leaving daily
