HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA – October 11, 2012, –On October 11, 2012, at about 2:10 am, Hollister Police responded to a report of a vehicle fire. The vehicle recovered is the SUV belonging to missing person Heather Alaina Carroll. Heather is still missing.
The Hollister Fire Department responded to the early morning call of a vehicle fire in the area of Enterprise Road and Glenview Drive in Hollister. Hollister Police Officers responded as well and determined it was the same tan colored Sequoia SUV previously reported as belonging to Heather Carroll.
Evidence in the vehicle revealed it was not occupied at the time of the fire. The vehicle has been stored at the Hollister Police Department for forensic analysis.
The Hollister Police Department is asking if anyone was in the area of Enterprise Road and the Glenview Drive last night around 2:00 am to call police if they noticed anything suspicious.
Heather is 5ft. 5 inches tall, has reddish wavy hair, brown eyes and weighs 130 lbs.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Heather Carroll is asked to contact the Hollister Police Department at 636-4331 or 911. Persons wishing to remain anonymous may call WeTIP at (800) 78-CRIME. Information provided to WeTip may result in an award of up to $1,000.
