West Covina Police Investigate "Shots Fired"

On Monday, October 8, 2012 at about 1638 hours, West Covina Police received several calls of “shots heard” in the 2000 block of E. Walnut Creek Parkway in West Covina. Officers dispatched to the call began checking the area and located evidence that a shooting had occurred. Several bullet holes were located on a vehicle parked on the street. No one was injured from the shooting.

The suspect was described as a male Hispanic in a dark colored Nissan, which fled the scene travelling east on Walnut Creek Parkway. It is unknown if there were other suspects in the vehicle.
