Man Arrested for Robbing Lake Ronkonkoma Bank

Suffolk County Police today arrested a man for robbing the TD Bank, located at 474 Portion Road, Lake Ronkonkoma, on June 8. Detectives charged Conrad Kennebrew, 27, of Garland Lane, Westbury, with Robbery 3rd Degree. He was arraigned today at First District Court in Central Islip.

Date/Time: Friday, June 8, 2012 at 6:56 p.m.
Suffolk County Police detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the TD Bank branch in Lake Ronkonkoma.
A man entered the bank, located at 474 Portion Road at 6:56 p.m. and handed a teller a plastic bag while announcing a robbery and demanding cash. The teller complied and gave the man cash from the drawer. The man fled on foot westbound on Portion Road.
The man is described as black, in his late 40s, approximately 6 feet 1 inches tall, with black and gray hair, with dreadlocks, and a thin build. He was un-shaven and wearing a beige sweater, brown pants, and a dark baseball hat.
