The Dearborn Police are asking all residents to be aware of any suspicious persons or activity occurring in their respective neighborhoods. There has been a slight increase in residential burglaries in the city and the police department wants their residents to be aware of the situation and to be alert. Chief Haddad stated “I don’t want to cause any alarm and there is no specific part of town being referenced. I’m just asking our residents to be proactive and notify police if they witness any suspicious activity.”
Police are asking residents to call the suspicious activity line at 313-943-3030.
Police also want residents to be aware of the department’s vacation house check program. Residents can call 313-943-2241 if they want police to periodically check their homes while on vacation.
