At 5:10 am on Tuesday September 18th the Folsom Police Department responded to the report of an assault and battery between a woman, her husband, and her son in the 200 block of Wales Drive. The investigation determined the victim had suffered injuries during the encounter, but officers were unable to locate her husband or her adult son who were suspects in the crime.
At approximately 2:30 pm investigators returned the family residence and attempted to arrest the victim's husband Christopher Neal, and her son Patrick Neal. The Neal's refused to open the door at officers requests and barricaded themselves inside the residence. After an hour and twenty minute standoff, both suspects exited the house and were placed into custody.
Christopher Neal (49) was booked into the Sacramento County Jail on charges of Spousal Abuse and Patrick Neal (18) was charged with Assault with a Caustic Chemical (Penal Code Section 244).
