Prostitution Abatement Operation

Compton Station personnel conducted a prostitution abatement operation targeting activity along Long Beach Boulevard in the city of Compton. Their efforts resulted in twenty-five arrests; twenty-two females were arrested, nineteen for loitering with intent to commit prostitution, and three for disorderly conduct/soliciting an act of prostitution. Three males were arrested for disorderly conduct/ soliciting an act of prostitution. The operation was part of Compton Station’s continued effort to reduce crime and improve the quality of life for the citizens of Compton.
