Oakland, CA – On August 5, 2012 at 5:15 AM, Oakland Police officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of 7th Street to investigate an armed robbery.

When the officers arrived on scene the victim directed the officers to a male who was running through the parking lot as the person responsible for the robbery.

The Officer observed the suspect enter the passenger side of an awaiting vehicle. The vehicle fled the area as officer’s followed. Officers initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the 1100 block of 8th Street and detained one juvenile and two adult occupants.
The victim made a positive identification of the persons responsible for the robbery.

Out of the three people detained, two were arrested.
Officers recovered the victim’s loss from inside the vehicle and a firearm.
