On August 23, 2012, at approximately 0100 hours, Compton Station patrol deputies arrested a vehicle burglary suspect in the Unincorporated East Rancho Dominguez area. The suspect had attempted to break into several vehicles along the 4000 Block of East Rosecrans Avenue.

Shortly after committing one of the vehicle burglaries, the vigilant deputies arrested the suspect and recovered the stolen property.

The deputies contacted the victim, who was asleep during the incident and had no idea his vehicle had been burglarized. The victim was very pleased to find out the suspect had been arrested, and his property was recovered.
