Van Nuys Senior Lead Officers/LAPD has an important message for the community!

Adult-English Community Police Adacemy 2012! Dear LAPD Family & Friends,
Operations Valley Bureau will begin another Community Police Academy on Thursday, September 13, 2012. The classes will be held on eight (8) consecutive Thursdays, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Edward M. Davis Training Facility, Bomb Squad Room, Granada Hills. The Graduation for this class will take place on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.

We will be forming a list for Van Nuys Division and would appreciate your consideration for this fun and enlightening Academy, along with your RSVP. Completing all eight of the evenings may be a concern for some, but if you happen to miss a class, you would not be dropped.

Hundreds of residents have attended these classes and walk away with a new found perspective on Police work and why the officers do what they do!
