As of 2:00 pm today, August 15, 2012, Highway 20 is now open to through traffic in both directions. The maximum speed limit in the area of the fires is 45 miles per hour and will be strongly enforced by the Lake County Sheriff's Office and the California Highway Patrol. The public is asked to use extreme caution when driving in areas where fire crews and PG&E are working.
