Hit and Run Traffic Collision on Parthenia Street at Orion Avenue.

On Saturday July 28, 2012, at approximately 8:30 P.M., a Hit and Run Traffic Collision, Vehicle vs. Pedestrian occurred in Panorama City. A possible Chevrolet, white pick-up truck with orange racing stripes traveling eastbound on Parthenia Street, crossing Orion Avenue, collided with a pedestrian crossing southbound in the east crosswalk. The pedestrian was seriously injured as a result of the collision and remains in critical condition. The hit and run driver failed to stop and render aid. The pedestrian has been identified as a 36 year old, Male resident of Panorama City. Notification to next of kin is pending.

The Hit and Run driver is described as a Male, Hispanic, heavy set, bald, 20 through 35 years old. The Hit and Run vehicle sustained major front-end damage and a broken windshield toward the passenger side.
