The investigation into the armed robbery of the Foster Freeze in Lucerne has successfully resulted in the arrest of a Lucerne man.

On July 23, 2012 Lake County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies were following up on leads concerning the armed robbery of the Foster Freeze. They had received information that the person possibly responsible for the armed robbery was 21 year old Skyler Yale Holden of Lucerne. Patrol deputies contacted Holden at a residence located on 7th Avenue in Lucerne. Holden was positively identified as the person responsible for the armed robbery.

During the interview with patrol deputies, Holden admitted to committing the robbery. On July 23, 2012 at approximately 6:50 pm, Holden was arrested for robbery, being armed in the commission of a felony and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility and booked.
