The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm WARNING for our area until 3:30pm. A WARNING indicates that their is an imminent threat of the weather type including damaging winds and hail as well as locally heavy downpours. Locally heavy rain may cause some flash flooding in low lying areas and in streets where drains are overtaxed. Do not dive through standing water as you do not know how deep it is.

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect through 9pm this evening. A WATCH indicates that conditions are in place that may lead to severe storms
