Police On-Line Reporting System

The Fontana Police Department would like to remind everyone that our Citizen’s Online Reporting System is available on our website at www.fontanapd.org. This system is available to anyone wanting to file certain types of police reports. By using this system, citizens can file police reports immediately without waiting for an officer and print a copy of the report for free. Once completed, the report will be reviewed by an officer however no follow up will be conducted and no additional contact will be made by police personnel. These reports can be used for documentation purposes only for insurance, civil court cases or for future reference.

Various types of incidents that can be reported using this system include, but are not limited to; child custody violations, graffiti, harassing phone calls, hit and run accidents, identity theft, lost property, vandalism, general theft and vehicle burglary.

The system is easy to use and detailed instructions are provided on the website by clicking on “File a Police Report Online.”

Citizens wishing to file police reports that will require additional investigation, have suspect information or need to speak to an officer are still encouraged to contact us at (909) 350-7700. Emergency situations should still be reported by calling 911.

We encourage citizens to utilize this system whenever possible. This will allow people to file reports at their convenience while keeping police personnel available for other calls requiring immediate response.
