Boil advisory rescinded for I-70 to 87th, Blue Ridge Cut-off to city-limits effective at 2:45 pm..

Boil advisory issued by KCMO Water Services Department on July 3, 2012 has been cancelled at 2:45 pm on July 4, 2012.

The affected area is south of I-70 to 87th Street, Blue Ridge Cut-off east to city-limits

Customers no longer need to boil water prior to drinking or cooking.
Tests on the water show it meets requirements for public drinking water and is safe to drink without boiling.

This precautionary Boil Water Advisory is being issued as a precaution due to low water pressures as result of electrical power issues at a pump station.
