Synopsis:
Two suspects broke into a home, tied up a 30 year old male resident, ransacked the house and left. There was a two year old child in the residence at the time of the robbery, the child was not harmed. One of the suspects was described as being a BMA, in his 20-30’s, 5’8” tall with short hair and wearing a short sleeve shirt and dark pants. The other suspect was not seen. The loss was undetermined and Robbery Detectives are investigating.

Type: AUTO THEFT / ATTEMPT ROBBERY

Synopsis:
A 24 year old male stole a Nissan Exterra in Linda Vista. He drove up to the neighborhoods of Rancho Bernardo and Scripps Ranch where he attempted to rob four different sets of victims in four separate incidents. He used the stolen vehicle to ram his victim’s vehicles, then make a demand for cash. All four attempts of robbery were unsuccessful. Police spotted the suspect at 13200 Black Mountain Rd and pursued him to 9400 Twin Trails. A foot pursuit ensued and the suspect was taken into custody. The suspect was booked for auto theft and 4 counts of attempted robbery. There were no injuries and Northeastern Investigations is handling.
