Drowning at Woodward Reservoir in Oakdale, CA

Oakdale, CA – A 48 year old adult male from Modesto, CA died today (June 17, 2012) while swimming at Woodward Reservoir just outside of Oakdale, CA. Just after 2:00 PM the victim was swimming with family members at Muir Point and became tired. He went under the water and had to be pulled out of the lake by family members. The family members had to begin CPR and Sheriff’s Deputies arrived and took over CPR until EMS arrived. The victim was transported to a local emergency room where he was pronounced dead.
