On Sunday, June 3, 2012, the Hot Rod Tour will be traveling through Fruitport Township to reach it's daily stop in downtown Muskegon. The main pack is estimated to arrive in Fruitport Township around 12pm.
The intersections of Sternberg/Dangl, Sternberg/Airline, and Airline/Hile will be manned by officers to to control traffic in order to allow the tour to continue through as a group.
The Hot Rod Tour is a rolling tribute to performance cars. The tour starts in Detroit on June 2nd and end in Texas on June 9th.
Fruitport Township's newest Dodge Charger (2011) will be on display for the second year at the Mother's booth. This vehicle is a ideal example of modern technology and performance. Its a perfect fit for the tour.
