6/12/2012 Update: Investigators have identified the offender in this incident. Warrants have been issued for his arrest.

On June 1 at about 12:50 a.m., employees were leaving On the Way Chevron, at 1097 Baxter Street, when they were approached by a male who was armed with a handgun. The suspect ordered them back into the store and behind the counter. The employees were then ordered to place money in a sack. They complied and were then made to go in the office. The suspect left the store and fled on foot. He was described as wearing a black scarf over his face, a green army style jacket, white gloves, black pants, and white shoes. He was described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, and in his 40’s or 50’s. Please see the attached still images. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information on the suspect's identity should contact Det.
