Update 05/15/2012: A suspect has been identified in recent larcenies of gasoline from area gas stations through cooperative investigative efforts between Fruitport Township Police Department and Muskegon Township Police Department. Charges are being sought through the Muskegon County Prosecutor's Office. Investigators are working with other area agencies to determine whether the suspect was involved in additional incidents.

The incident took place on 04/07/2012 at approximately 11:30 AM. The driver of the vehicle pumped $169.43 worth of gas into a pickup truck and drove off without paying for the gas.
