Cassopolis Meth Cook Flees Through Window with Active Meth Lab (for more info see CCSO.info)

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces that on Saturday May 12th, 2012, two men were arrested in the 100 block of South Disbrow Street in the village of Cassopolis. Duane Glassco and Michael Enboden were identified by detectives with an active meth lab at the residence and evidence of at least one prior meth lab during the investigation.

CCDET investigators began conducting an investigation into meth production at the location where at least two men were suspected of working together to manufacture meth. Detectives knocked on the door and Glassco, who was on parole at the time, jumped from a back window holding an active "one pot" meth lab. Glassco was taken into custody by CCDET personnel and a Cassopolis Village police officer. Enboden was located inside the residence. Detectives located meth related components, methamphetamine, marijuana, and paraphernalia as well as at least one prior meth lab.

Enboden and Glassco were arrested at the scene and lodged at the Cass County Jail. A hazardous waste clean up company was called to the scene to dispose of the meth labs and meth related trash.

Glassco and Enboden were arraigned in the Cass County 4th District Court on May 14th, 2012. In addition to the parole violation, Glassco is charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, operating and maintaining a lab involving methamphetamine, production of hazardous waste, possession of methamphetamine, and maintaining a drug house as an habitual offender 4th. Glassco is being held at the Cass County Jail on a $60,000 cash or surety bond.

Enboden is charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, operating and maintaining a lab involving methamphetamine, production of hazardous waste, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of marijuana as an habitual offender 4th. Enboden is being held in the Cass County Jail on a $60,000 cash or surety bond.
