At 4:51 PM the Sheriff's Office and Fire Dept responded to the San Joaquin River near 8622 Dos Rios for a 17 y/o male in need of assistance. The 17 y/o was swimming with friends when he began having problems swimming. A friend attempted to help him get to the river bed, but could not hold onto him. Both the Sheriff's and Fire Department are attempting to locate the 17 y/o who was last seen floating north along the San Joaquin River.
