Suspect identified from Seabrook Shooting. John Junior Carmichael II (21 years old) wanted for Attempted Murder.
Suspect Wanted for Attempted Murder
Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department have identified the suspect responsible for the shooting at Seabrook Park on April 8, 2012. Warrants for the arrest of John Junior Carmichael II have been secured in connection with the shooting of Quentun Harley. Carmichael is charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and Assault With a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill or Inflicting Serious Injury.

The victims from the shooting on April 8, 2012 have been identified. The first victim, Quentun Harley (28 years old), is still recovering from his injuries at an undisclosed location. At last report, Harley was listed in critical condition. The second victim, D’Angelo Baldwin (16 years old) received minor injuries during the shooting. For the safety of the victims, the Fayetteville Police Department is not releasing their addresses at this time.
The suspect has been described as a black male with a close haircut, wearing green shorts and a blue t-shirt. The suspect arrived at the park in a light colored SUV, and fled the scene on foot.

On Sunday, April 8, 2012 at approximately 7:39PM, Fayetteville Police Officers responded to a shooting at Seabrook Park at 716 Langdon St. When officers arrived on scene they discovered a subject on the basketball court that had been shot. The victim was transported to CFVMC for treatment and is listed as critical but stable. While officers were on scene they were advised of a second subject who had been shot at Highsmith Rainey Hospital. The second victim’s injuries were listed as minor. Additional information will be released at such time it becomes available.
