Two juvenile subjects have been identified by Fruitport Township Police Department as being involved in a burglary to a business, The North Pole Ice Cream Shop (2973 Heights Ravenna). The offense took place early Saturday morning while the business was closed. There were no employees at the business at the time of the incident.
Access to the business was gained by force. Surveillance cameras inside the business captured images which were distributed by police in an effort to identify those involved.
Police received multiple tips which were followed-up on, and by Sunday night police had identified two juvenile offenders as being involved.
Names of the juvenile offenders are not being released. The matter is being to the Muskegon County Prosecutor's Office to be handled through the juvenile court.
Police are not further releasing details regarding the incident at this time.
