Fruitport Township Police Department has arrested two suspects (one male and one female) following investigation into two separate purse-snatching incidents that took place within approximately 1/2 hour of each other on March 02, 2012.
The first incident took place at The Lakes Mall. The second incident took place at Walmart on Sherman Blvd. Both incidents took place during daylight hours while the businesses were open to the public.
Fruitport Township Police Department is working with other area law enforcement agencies to determine whether these suspects may be involved in similar criminal acts in other local jurisdictions.
Names of the suspects and additional details regarding the investigation are not being released at this time.
