Last night (Tuesday April 3rd) around 8:20pm dispatch received several calls of shots fired in the area of Kirk St. near Lathers in Ypsilanti Township.
When deputies arrived there were no suspects in the area. It is not clear if shots were fired in the direction of anyone or just shot into the air. This morning however, it was discovered that a neighbor who was unrelated to the incident awoke to find that their vehicle had been shot. No additional damage or injuries have been reported at this time.
