7 Arrests, 14 Traffic Stops, 83 Dispatches; Parole Violation; Accidents; B&E; Subjects with Guns; Meth Lab
Officers made 7 arrests, conducted 14 traffic stops, and were dispatched to 83 calls for service.
Officer Karle arrested a subject for violating parole.
Officers Karle and Gross investigated a hit and run accident that occurred at Washington and Cooper. Both the suspect driver and the pedestrian victim were located; neither reported any major injuries.
Officer Brant took a B&E report from a residence in the 600 block of Madison.
Officers took a report of an accident in the construction zone near Ganson and Jackson. A bicyclist was riding through the construction zone when struck by a construction vehicle. Minor injuries were reported.
Officers were sent to the 1100 block of Williams for two subjects walking in the street with guns. Officers checked the area but located nothing suspicious.
Officer Burkart was investigating an incident near Wilkins and Mechanic when he stopped a vehicle leaving the area. He arrested one subject in the vehicle on an outstanding warrant.
Officers Brant and Brandt were sent to the 200 block of N. Thompson for an intoxicated subject yelling in the street. Upon their arrival, the subject was arrested on two outstanding warrants.
Officer Brandt went to a supposedly vacant residence in the 700 block of Lansing Ave. after receiving information on a subject there with warrants. Upon further investigation, two subjects were located inside and they both were arrested on outstanding warrants. Charges for manufacturing methamphetamine will also be sought after finding meth lab components in the residence.
