BLRPD has an important message for the community!
On March 16, 2012 a resident in the 1500 block of Artisan Crt. reported that an unknown subject entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a GPS unit, change, and various other items. This occurred between 8:30 pm and 5:45 am.
On March 17th, 2012 a resident in the 1100 block of Tudor Drive reported that at sometime last week, an unknown subject removed a GPS from his unlocked vehicle.
Both of these thefts occurred within a 1-2 mile radius from one another. These thefts occurred in an area that had numerous reports of thefts from vehicles within the past week.
