TRAFFIC ALERT: WATER MAIN BREAK ON FOLSOM-AUBURN ROAD NEAR OAK AVENUE PARKWAY IN FOLSOM – TAKE ALTERNATE ROUTE
 
City of Folsom water officials encourage motorists to avoid the Folsom-Auburn Road and old Oak Avenue Parkway intersection (near McDonald’s) this afternoon and evening.  The area is flooded due to a water main break.  
City crews are on site assessing the break and planning repairs.  They expect that one lane in each direction will remain open.  Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes such as Hazel Avenue and Folsom Lake Crossing.
Up-to-date information will be posted on the City’s website throughout the afternoon and evening.
