Recent increase in residential burglaries


Westchester Police are reporting a sudden increase in residential burglaries.Beginning on 2/24/12 and continuing through 3/06/12, (6) forcible burglaries have occurred during daytime hours with cash being the primary focus of items taken. Residents are reminded to refrain from keeping cash, jewelry, and other valuables in areas such as the bedroom.
